Nick Spurgeon

PLANTING PASTOR

Pastor Nick Spurgeon has served at Parkside Church since 2015. Originally moving to Ohio for the Parkside Pastoral Residency, he has served as an associate pastor since 2016.

Nick graduated from Louisiana College with a degree in Christian Philosophy 2015, and while pastoring at Parkside, pursued and completed his MDiv at Midwestern Seminary.

He has served at Parkside in a variety of roles as an associate pastor, among them, leading an adult Sunday Morning class, overseeing a variety of support groups, assisting in leading the Community Groups ministry, and serving as a pastor of missions.

Nick has been married to Ally since 2012, and they have three children: Harper, and twins, Natalie and Ellis. In his spare time, you will find him trying to keep up with his family, “tinkering” with his fountain pens, reading, or watching a movie with his wife. His favorite books outside of the Scriptures are Delighting in the Trinity by Michael Reeves and Knowing God by J.I. Packer (particularly the chapter on Adoption- he rereads it every year!).
